Medical Qualifications

Prof Anthony Mundy qualified from St Mary's Hospital Medical School, London and trained in surgery and urology at Guy's Hospital in London. He has been awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons and the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians.

Medical Experience

Prof Mundy is Professor of Urology and Consultant Urological Surgeon at UCL Hospitals and is the Medical Director responsible for Quality and Safety, Research and Development, Education and Training. He has been a visiting consultant urologist for Marter Dei Hospital in Malta since 1984 and Honorary Civilian Consultant Urologist to the Royal Navy.

Prof Mundy has been a Medical Director at UCL Hospitals since 2001. He has had 42 visiting professorships and has been visiting surgeon to 125 institutions around the world. He has a special interest in complex urethral reconstruction, urological reconstruction and artificial urinary sphincters.
