Medical Qualifications

Mr Stuart James qualified from University College London and the Middlesex Medical School in 1994. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1998 whilst undertaking specialist surgical training in London.

Mr James was awarded a Fellowship to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, USA allowing him to learn the latest techniques in microsurgical reconstructive surgery. Mr James has since gone on to receive a Master of Surgery degree from University College London.

Medical Experience and Training

Mr James has a specialist interest in autologous breast reconstruction using the newly-developed DIEP flap technique as well as fat transfer and aesthetic surgery of the face and breast. Since 2009 Mr James has been a consultant at the London Breast Clinic, of 108 Harley Street and also practises at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London.
